Hi, my name is Kara Wada!
A few years ago, my professional life as a practicing allergy/immunology physician turned personal, when I gained the title of autoimmune patient and food allergy mom in the same month.
Having spent more than a decade caring for thousands of patients struggling with their misbehaving immune systems, I have learned that no two individuals are exactly alike.
That said, many of us encounter the similar struggles.
Struggling to feel heard.
Not getting answers
Finding the words describe the fatigue and fog.
Unable to trust your own body.
After helping train hundreds of future physicians and working with even more of my peers, I know the communication styles vary considerably among health care providers. I also see that burn-out is a really threat to the partnership between healthcare providers and patients. Setting expectations and boundaries only helps us to build bridges.
In Building Bridges, I take you through a simple, step-by-step approach to confidently & effectively communicate your needs to yourself, your loved ones and your health care team.
The same approach that I’ve used to quit waiting for the other shoe to drop and help myself, clients and patients start living their lives with clarity and confidence.
